Everything Victoria Beckham and her trainer had to say about her workout routine and diet
Victoria Beckham may be married to one of the most famous athletes of all time (David Beckham) but she can hold her own in the gym.

As a member of the Spice Girls, Beckham was known for her posh style and slim body, and nothing has changed since then. But after turning 50 earlier this year, Beckham told Grazia that her view of body image has changed in recent years.
“I never want to seem like I’m complaining, but there were times in the past when I didn’t feel confident enough to sit on the beach and watch my kids play. the front page of the newspaper, with arrows pointing to where I needed to lose weight, those things can affect how you feel and act when you’re around people. “Well, if paparazzi want to take a picture and say something – it’s too bad, it doesn’t bother me in the same way.”
Beckham looks more confident—and fitter—than ever and has changed her exercise routine in recent years to include lifting weights, a routine she told Grazia makes her feel “stronger than when I was 20.”

He embraced strength training in recent years
Like many women, Beckham was once hesitant to start lifting weights for fear of lifting weights.
“I’ve always been afraid of measurements, but it turns out I love them. I even have those special gloves I have to wear! It’s good to change things up and keep your body thinking. I have more muscle tone now,” he told Grazia in 2022.
Speaking to Women’s Health UK in 2024, Rich explained why her client decided to increase her fitness routine to include strength training a few years ago.

That being said, it was a form of training that he approached with the same intensity and dedication as any other workout up to that point and he hasn’t looked back. .’
In an interview with Vogue UK, Rich said Beckham grew to appreciate the importance of strength training over time.
“The difference in Victoria’s muscles now (compared to five years ago) is not that they are bigger, but the quality of the muscles and the health that she has because of having strong joints, tendons and ligaments are marked. It took a long time for his mind to shift from short-term to long-term, but now it’s part of his day’ and he loves it,” he said.
Rich told Vogue Beckham does a lot of bodyweight work and exercises using dumbbells and barbells.
“And I incorporate a lot of active and combined techniques – using two or three groups and muscle groups – every time,” he said.
He realized that quality is better than quantity when it comes to exercise
Exercising often isn’t the trick to figuring out your workout routine. Instead, Rich told Women’s Health UK that she worked with Beckham to help him realize that the quality of his exercise was more important than the quantity.
“Even though Victoria used to break down her workouts every week, she didn’t necessarily have measurable goals the way she does now[before we started training],” he said. together).”
Instead of focusing on “the number of sessions or hours spent in the gym per week” as he once did, Beckham now looks at the quality of his training and the effort he puts in during training. each.

Therefore, he divides it into “blocks” of training that include “small cycles of strength, hypertrophy, strength training, endurance training, cardio, which corresponds to the topics of recovery, attention and strength.”
“If we were in strength training, we might have a 75 or 90 minute period because there is a little rest involved because of the weight, while sometimes it would be a fraction of a minute. 50. They do what they’re told (laughter). It’s a priority for the two of them,” he said of the Beckhams.
Her diet and fitness have become more balanced over time
Beckham has always had a slim body, but told Grazia she tries not to think about the number she sees on the scale.
“It’s not about being a certain size. It’s about knowing who you are and being happy with who you are. I’ve found my balance between wanting to have fun and being disciplined about eating health and exercise,” he said. “When you’re young you struggle with that balance, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve gotten to the point where I know what that balance looks like. I just know what works for me.”
The star expressed similar sentiments in a separate interview with the publication two years later after she celebrated her 50th birthday.
“You’re becoming more receptive, aren’t you? This is how I look. I’m going to use it, work hard at it,” he said. “I get criticized a lot for the way I eat, the way I work and the way I work. That’s who I am. But I like to drink and I won’t be one of them. ,’ Ah, there are a lot of calories in a glass of wine,’ No matter how short Life is.
